Ways to work with RSL Quantum.

RSL Quantum Private Limited is an early-stage Indian quantum software company incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi. Alongside building its software, it offers the four kinds of engagement below. Each starts with a scoping call, and any work beyond that call is agreed in writing before it begins.

01

Scoping call

An initial conversation about your problem, to decide whether quantum methods are worth a closer look.

Who it is for

  • Teams in industry, government and research with a hard computing, simulation, optimisation or sensing problem.
  • Anyone unsure whether quantum methods are relevant to their work, or where to start.

What you get

  • A discussion of the problem, how it is solved today, the data available and what a better result would look like.
  • Our view on a sensible next step: a feasibility study, a training workshop, or staying with classical methods.

How it works

  • Write to us through the contact page and choose the topic "Scoping call". A few lines about the problem are enough.
  • We reply within two working days to arrange a time.
  • No confidential data is needed. If you need a non-disclosure agreement before sharing details, say so when you write.

02

Feasibility study

A defined piece of work that tests whether quantum methods are worth pursuing for one problem, measured against a classical baseline.

Who it is for

  • Teams with a defined problem, representative data or test cases, and a current method to compare against.
  • Organisations deciding whether to invest further in quantum methods for a specific workload.

What you get

  • A problem formulation agreed with your team.
  • The classical baseline and the quantum methods tested in simulation, with the backend, noise model and settings named.
  • Results reported against that baseline, with their limits stated.
  • A recommendation to continue, to change approach, or to stay with classical methods.
  • The scripts needed to reproduce the results, where the agreement allows.

How it works

  • It starts with a scoping call.
  • Scope, data handling, confidentiality, timeline and deliverables are agreed in writing before work begins.
  • Findings are reviewed with your team before the report is final.

03

Training workshop

Workshops on quantum computing, sensing and materials, planned for your audience and clear about what the technology can and cannot do today.

Who it is for

  • Engineering and research teams starting work with quantum methods.
  • Managers and decision makers who need a grounding in the field.
  • Colleges and universities, including faculty development programmes.

What you get

  • A programme planned around your audience, from foundations to the research areas closest to their work: quantum compute, quantum intelligence, quantum sensing, quantum materials and quantum applications.
  • Worked examples that run on ordinary computers with simulators, so no quantum hardware is needed.

How it works

  • Tell us about the audience, its size and background, the length you have in mind, and whether you prefer sessions in person or online.
  • We send an outline for you to review before dates are fixed.

04

Government and public sector advisory

Technical input for ministries, departments, public sector undertakings and public research bodies planning work in quantum technology.

Who it is for

  • Ministries, departments and public sector undertakings (PSUs) planning quantum programmes, procurements or skills initiatives.
  • Public research bodies reviewing quantum proposals or roadmaps.

What you get

  • Technical review of proposals, roadmaps and requirements in quantum computing, sensing and materials.
  • Briefings for decision makers that separate what is available today from what is still research.
  • Help drafting technical requirements that can be tested and measured.

How it works

  • It starts with a scoping call to agree the questions, deliverables and terms.
  • Work follows your organisation's procurement and confidentiality rules.
  • RSL Quantum builds quantum software, so we declare any conflict of interest in writing before work begins.

Before you write

What to expect.

  • We do not build or sell quantum hardware.
  • We do not quote speed-ups or savings before a study has measured them against a classical baseline.
  • We do not publish prices. Terms are agreed for each engagement.
  • A study can conclude that classical methods are the better choice. When it does, the report says so.

Not sure which of these fits? The readiness assessment asks eight short questions and suggests a next step. Academic groups proposing joint research can use the research collaboration form.
