RSL Quantum Private Limited is an early-stage Indian quantum software company incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi. It is building software and simulation tools in five areas: quantum compute, quantum intelligence, quantum sensing, quantum materials and quantum applications. It does not build quantum hardware.
The thesis.
The next decade of computing will be defined by who can build the software that makes quantum useful. Hardware is one half of the story. The software backbone, the compilers, simulators, runtime, and applications, is the other half. RSL Quantum exists to make sure that backbone is built in India, for Bharat and for the world.
How we work.
We see quantum as a layer that joins compute, intelligence, sensing, materials and applications. Each pillar starts from research at the INTRINSIC Lab at the Centre for SeNSE, IIT Delhi, and is then translated into software.
Each result we publish will name its baseline and include the scripts needed to reproduce it.

The institutional foundation.
RSL Quantum is incubated at FITT, IIT Delhi, following approval by the 118th TSSC of FITT in 2026. It was founded by Prof. Santhosh Sivasubramani, Director, INTRINSIC Lab, Centre for SeNSE, IIT Delhi, and builds on research from that lab.
