Why we are writing it.
The National Quantum Mission of the Government of India needs not one company, but a generation of young Indians who understand what quantum is, why it matters, and how to join the field. There is no shortage of foreign books. There is a shortage of one written for the student in a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Surat or a Navodaya in Bihar, using the history, the languages, and the analogies that are already theirs.
